1. No Refunds Policy

1.1 General Policy

Once payment is processed and a reservation is successfully created, NO REFUNDS will be issued, regardless of:

  • Change of Plans: Change in travel dates, destinations, or cancellation of travel plans
  • Visa Outcomes: Visa denial, rejection, delay, or approval
  • Embassy/Consulate Issues: Rejection of our reservation by any embassy, consulate, or government agency
  • User Error: Incorrect dates, airports, or information provided by you
  • Reservation Expiration: Reservations expiring before use
  • Personal Circumstances: Any personal, financial, or family circumstances
  • Service Dissatisfaction: Dissatisfaction with the service or reservation quality
  • Third-Party Issues: Problems with third-party services (airlines, embassies, etc.)
  • Technical Issues: Issues viewing, downloading, or accessing your reservation (if successfully delivered)

1.2 Why We Have This Policy

Flighter.app provides temporary reservations that are delivered instantly upon payment. Once created:

  • The reservation has immediate value
  • Resources and API calls have been used
  • The service has been fully delivered
  • Airline/GDS systems have been accessed
  • Email delivery has been completed

Our service is digital and instant, making refunds impractical and unfair to our business model.

1.3 Understanding Before Purchase

Before purchasing, please ensure you:

  • Understand our service provides TEMPORARY reservations only
  • Confirm your travel dates are correct
  • Verify airport codes are accurate
  • Accept that reservations expire after 48 hours
  • Acknowledge that we do NOT guarantee visa approval
  • Understand this is NOT a real airline ticket

By completing your purchase, you confirm you understand and accept these conditions.

2. Exceptions to No-Refund Policy

2.1 Service Failure

Refunds will ONLY be issued if:

Scenario A: Payment Successful, No Reservation Created

  • • You completed payment successfully, AND
  • • Our system failed to generate your reservation, AND
  • • We cannot create your reservation within 24 hours

Action: Automatic full refund within 5-7 business days

Scenario B: Duplicate Charges

  • • You were charged multiple times for the same reservation, AND
  • • Only one reservation was created

Action: Refund of duplicate charges only

Scenario C: Technical System Error

  • • Our system experienced a technical error preventing service delivery, AND
  • • We cannot resolve the issue within 24 hours

Action: Full refund or reservation creation at no additional cost (your choice)

2.2 How to Report Service Failure

If you believe you qualify for an exception:

  1. Contact us immediately: support@flighter.app
  2. Subject line: "Refund Request - Service Failure"
  3. Include: Order/Transaction ID, email address used for purchase, payment confirmation screenshot, description of the issue, and proof of payment

Response Time: 24-48 hours

2.3 Refund Processing Time

If approved, refunds are processed:

  • Stripe refunds: 5-7 business days
  • Credit card refunds: 7-10 business days (depending on your bank)
  • Debit card refunds: 7-10 business days (depending on your bank)

Note: Refund processing time depends on your payment provider and bank. We cannot expedite this process.

3. What Does NOT Qualify for Refunds

3.1 Visa-Related Issues

NO refunds for:

  • ❌ Visa application denied or rejected
  • ❌ Visa processing delays
  • ❌ Embassy or consulate rejecting our reservation
  • ❌ Additional documents requested by embassy
  • ❌ Visa fees or processing costs
  • ❌ Embassy appointment issues
  • ❌ Consulate policy changes
  • ❌ Travel ban or restrictions

Reason: We provide temporary reservations as a documentation tool. We do NOT guarantee visa approval. Embassy decisions are outside our control.

3.2 User Error

NO refunds for:

  • ❌ Incorrect travel dates entered
  • ❌ Wrong airport codes selected
  • ❌ Misspelled passenger name
  • ❌ Invalid email address provided
  • ❌ Wrong trip type selected (one-way vs. round-trip)
  • ❌ Forgot to download/save reservation
  • ❌ Lost or deleted email confirmation

Reason: You are responsible for verifying all information before purchase. Please double-check your details at checkout.

3.3 Expiration

NO refunds for:

  • ❌ Reservation expired before use
  • ❌ Did not use reservation within 48-hour validity period
  • ❌ Missed embassy appointment
  • ❌ Delayed visa application submission
  • ❌ Need reservation for longer than 48 hours

Reason: All reservations clearly state 48-hour validity. This is disclosed before purchase. If you need a new reservation, you must purchase again.

3.4 Change of Mind

NO refunds for:

  • ❌ Changed travel plans
  • ❌ Found cheaper alternative
  • ❌ No longer need visa
  • ❌ Travel cancelled
  • ❌ Decided not to travel
  • ❌ Personal circumstances changed

Reason: Once the service is delivered, it cannot be "returned" like a physical product.

3.5 Third-Party Issues

NO refunds for:

  • ❌ Airline changed flight schedule
  • ❌ Flight cancelled by airline
  • ❌ Embassy closed or not accepting appointments
  • ❌ Consulate website down
  • ❌ VFS Global or visa center issues
  • ❌ Pandemic-related closures
  • ❌ Government policy changes

Reason: These are external factors beyond our control. Our service delivers what is promised: a temporary reservation.

4. Chargebacks and Disputes

4.1 Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a successfully delivered service is considered fraudulent and may result in:

  • Immediate account termination
  • Legal action to recover costs and damages
  • Reporting to fraud prevention agencies
  • Permanent ban from using Flighter.app
  • Collection of chargeback fees and legal costs

4.2 Before Filing a Dispute

If you have an issue with your reservation:

  1. Contact us first: support@flighter.app
  2. Explain the problem clearly with evidence
  3. Give us 48 hours to investigate and respond
  4. Work with us to find a resolution

Most issues can be resolved quickly without disputes.

4.3 Legitimate Disputes

The ONLY legitimate reasons for a chargeback:

  • You did not authorize the charge
  • Your card was stolen/used fraudulently
  • You were charged but received NO service at all

If you received your reservation confirmation email with PNR, your service was delivered successfully.

5. Alternative Solutions

5.1 If You Need a New Reservation

Instead of requesting a refund, you can:

  • Purchase a new reservation with correct dates/details
  • Contact support if you made a minor error (we may help for free)
  • Use our service again closer to your actual need date

5.2 If Your Reservation Expired

If your reservation expired before use:

  • Purchase a new reservation for $12-$25
  • Plan ahead next time - create reservation 1-2 days before embassy appointment
  • Download immediately - save your PDF when you receive it

5.3 If You Have Technical Issues

If you cannot access your reservation:

  • Check spam folder for confirmation email
  • Contact support with your order ID
  • We will resend your reservation details at no charge
  • Download PDF from the link in your email

6. Consumer Rights

6.1 EU Consumer Rights

Right of Withdrawal (EU):

Under EU law, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does NOT apply to:

  • Digital content delivered immediately with your consent
  • Services fully performed with your prior consent
  • Customized or personalized products

Flighter.app reservations are digital content delivered instantly, fully performed upon creation, and customized to your specific dates and route.

By completing your purchase, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery and waive your right of withdrawal.

6.2 UK Consumer Rights

Similar provisions apply under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. By purchasing, you consent to immediate digital content delivery, waive your cancellation right for digital content, and acknowledge the service is fully performed upon delivery.

6.3 Other Jurisdictions

Consumer protection laws vary by country. If you believe you have statutory rights that conflict with this policy, please contact us to discuss.

We respect all legally mandated consumer rights and will comply with applicable laws.
